Hello to you all, and apologies for the long delay for updates.

Lots has happened in the Vera Playa area, storms, floods, storm damage, new pool enclosures in Bahia de Vera,  a few changes of bars in the Vera Plaza, Kebab shops and burger bars, 

but all good, bookings are finally picking up after Covid, (I think confidence is coming back finally)

this year 2024 has been a really good year, we have acquired a new van, bookings have been steadily increasing, and our managed side of things has taken off really well.

2025 already is nearly full for the prime booking months, and even 2026 has bookings which is brilliant, so if you are still needing to reserve Casa Andrea for 2025 0r 2026, Please be quick or you may lose your favorite dates (If not already….)

The beach is still having its issues, with promises of long term solutions that never materialise, but we always live in hope,

Its been a busy while since we did an update. however, here we go….

Our new business of managing other apartments for overseas clients has taken off pretty well, and is keeping us nicely busy. This and our own apartment is the perfect challenge to keep us occupied (The Website for our new venture is https://www.mark-and-andreas-apartments.es We have currently 2 other naturist apartments available to book directly with us, or through AirBnB we don’t mind either way, and they all are of excellent quality and appointed to a high standard,

Casa Andrea has numerous bookings already for 2023, however, October 2022 and November 2022 still has availability, so whilst we keep saying it, come on and get it booked, we would hate you to lose out on your preferred dates !!!

Our little company Van is still whizzing around Vera Playa and surrounding areas, and keeping Mark and Andreas Apartments in everyone’s eyeline. so if your already here, give us wave we always wave back lol

As always, we look forward to greeting previous guests and New guests alike,  its a lovely part of our job making sure you have a relaxing break with us…

Well, all the jobs are completed for this coming Season, from bathroom refurbs, to complete NEW drainage installations, New outside Sun Terrace and Pathway, New interior furniture, a full kitchen makeover with New appliances, new curtains in the lounge, and super high speed fibre internet with FULL international cable TV.

We like to ensure everything is the best it can be, for our guests when they stop with us, and prices are very similar to last year, with only some minor price increases, however, we are still very well within the prices of everyone else within the Bahia de Vera urbanisation.

We Can be booked directly through AirBnB however booking direct with us saves on commission fees and will save you money, but as always the choice is completely yours !!!

We look forward to greeting you to showcase all our hard work, and trust you will appreciate all our hard work…

Finally, I think we can safely say the UK may have sorted out its international and European holidays situation by scrapping the traffic light system. We are fully ready to greet you and welcome you back to Vera Playa in a covid 19 safe environment at our apartment.

Well, What a few months we’ve had, Since Spain relaxed the criteria for travel in and out of Spain, and internally within Spain, we have been exceptionally busy with apartment bookings at Casa Andrea.

We sadly had a major problem with a broken Underground Drain within the apartment causing a massive problem of rising wet Damp in most of the apartment, accordingly we had to have a partial new Bathroom refit, (new Shower) a partial Kitchen re Fit (Worktops and cupboards) as the floors of both areas and the lounge area had to be excavated to find the damaged underground pipe’s and replace them with new ones…

This was all done as rapidly as we could manage, to have the least disruption to our bookings and thanks to our builders, a very thorough job was done, and the problem has now been fully corrected.

New Patio Area

From October 2021 (after the last booking in October) the apartment will be closed to the end of the month, as we are having a New patio area installed. This will be the full area in front of the main Patio doors and extending down to the hedgerow to allow guests to be able to sunbathe on the full terrace as opposed to the small area currently in place now.

A small tiled area in front of the bedroom patio doors, is also been installed to allow easier access to the bedroom if required, and the existing random stone pathway leading to the apartment is also been replaced to match the new tiling within the garden area, creating a far easier, and level access area.

2022 Bookings

Due to the loss of revenue during 2020 and the early part of 2021, we sadly have had to slightly increase our 2022 prices to recoup some losses, however, Casa Andrea is still very competitively priced with other apartments within the Bahia de Vera urbanisation.

Already, we have most prime/peak holiday slots booked and/or reserved for 2022, so as we always remind you, please check our calendar availability before booking your flights to ensure availability for your preferred dates.

Our apologies for the delay in updating our news and updates, however, there has been no real good news to cheer anybody up, and as you know Covid-19 has taken over everything in normal day to day living, and to such a time as the world has all had its inoculations on mass to help curb the spread of this very annoying virus.

As far as holiday bookings go, there have been none for a very many months, and sadly and financially this has taken a massive toll on the tourist sector, both here in Spain and all over the rest of the world.

We are sadly no exception and have had to let go our newest apartment acquisition Estudio de Playa, which is very sad for us, as our business pre covid-19 was growing nicely and steadily as the holiday market here in Spain flourished. Sadly not enough bookings have come in to enable us to maintain our second apartment.

However, We are still fully in business, and now in a far stronger position than we were in 2020, and Casa Andrea our first apartment is, and will always be available for rental still.

Mark and Andreas apartments ES is also now offering long term/permanent  managed rentals as a new arm to our portfolio, and are always looking for new clients that own an investment property they wish to realise a Rental income from.

Covid-19 and Spain

Here in Spain, Covid is being contained within our own autonomous areas, and though lockdowns are still in existence, they are very workable and very tourist friendly. Most of the bars, Restaurants, and  Tapas bars are all starting to re-open for the summer period,  and there is a general good vibe here in Vera Playa, of good things to come.

We know its not going to be normal until maybe 2022, however, once travel restrictions are finally lifted from neighbouring countries, We are more than ready to welcome you all back to enjoy the summer sunshine that Vera Playa is famous for.

Well we trust everyone has had a wonderful festive time over this time of lockdowns and sadness everywhere throughout the world.

Here in Palomares near Vera Playa, myself and Andrea are plodding on, and bookings are starting to come in for both of our apartments, which is great news for us, and hopefully we may be able to keep hold of our newest addition Estudio de Playa if things continue in the way they are, however as a small family business, we sadly are not out of the woods just yet, and if someone approaches us with the right purchase price. sadly on a business point of view we will still at this point sell Estudio de playa. (our fingers are seriously crossed business picks up )

On a positive note, Vera Playa is doing very well with Covid-19,  Our daily figures around the coast are staying consistently low, and though a lot of businesses have closed down early due to poor turnover, we are all positive of a good holiday season for2021.

I know we say it every year, but please let us remind you, your holiday booking only requires a 20% deposit to fully secure your dates, and your final payment is not due before 10 weeks of your arrival. So snap up your dates as quickly as possible, as honestly, they are filling very fast again for 2021. (Just check our calendar !!!! )

We will be maintaining the rigorous cleaning regime to comply with Covis-19 recommendations for a number of months after the NEW vaccines have kicked in,  just to make sure everything is perfectly safe for you, and sadly this specialised clean has added an extra charge per booking of €25.00 but we would rather be safe than sorry after the event with you, our loyal customers.

We have also reverted to Casa Andrea as a 5 day minimum booking period, whereas Estudio de Playa can still be booked for a minimum of three nights. (in a bid to get bookings in, so we can keep it)

Finally Myself and Andrea would like to wish you all a happy, safe and prosperous new year for 2021, and we look forward to greeting you should you choose to safely visit us again this coming year….

News and updates

Well first of all my apologies for such a long gap between posts, but what a few months it has been for everyone.  We here in Spain have taken a massive hit loss in our bookings, and had to deal with many refunds and cancellations, (especially from the UK).

So we have now launched on AirBnB as well as Trip Advisor, and reduced our minimum booking period to 3 Nights just to keep bookings coming in, and thank goodness for the Europeans that can travel here without any restrictions, at least we’ve kept the bills paid up to press just !!!

However Sadly due to the lack of bookings between now and next year, we have sadly had to put our newest apartment “Estudio de Playa” back on to the market to be Sold.

We are really gutted, but needs must unfortunately, and as the apartments are our only form of income in Spain, We are having to realise some capitol to maintain things in Spain for us to live.

Covid sadly has had quite a bad effect on tourism here in Vera Playa, and quite a few apartments, shops, and restaurants have sadly had to close permanently, or close down to next year to a point when things hopefully pick back up.

Casa Andrea is totally fine and we will continue as we have for the last 6 years to maintain existing and new bookings in Bahia de Vera,  (and short term bookings are still been taken, on Estudio de Playa still to the point its sold.)

We hope sincerely none of you have been directly affected by the Coronavirus illness, and you’ve all coped with the varying degrees of restrictions imposed on you by your respective governments.

We hope to see you all again soon, as things stabilise and hopefully get back to a new normal, and sooner rather than later, (Fingers crossed), but as you all know, this pandemic is beyond our control at this point in time.

Well as a sad bit of News for those of you that may know it, The Blue Parrot on Hotel street has sadly had to close its doors and will not be opening when the allowed re-opening after lock-down takes place, and has sadly become another loss of the lock-down here in Vera Playa. We wish Kirk and Sarah all the very best in whatever rolls they continue in for their futures,

News and updates

we can finally announce that the imposed lock-down is been reduced in phased 2 week stages to keep a check on any increased risk of the virus levels re-increasing.

We will be allowed to open initially to Spanish visitors only from the 11th May 2020 to stay compliant with the relaxing of the Royal decree order, however, from our understanding of things, no communal areas will be open within the urbanisation, so Pools tennis courts etc will still be closed at this point in time, however, many bars, and restaurants will be open for up to 30% capacity only initially to see how things go with the risk of re-infection. these limits will increase every 2 weeks if all goes well with each earlier increase in accessibility.

At this point in time, We sadly have no date’s as to when the Spanish borders will reopen, to allow outside visitors in to Spain from other countries, but at least everything is moving in a forward direction, and we can finally see a light shining at the end of this very long tunnel.

To enable us to keep trading, we have opened Casa Andrea’s Calendar up to 3 nights ONLY as a minimum stay from the original 5 days as was previously, This has also taken immediate  effect on Trip Advisor (Holiday Lets). S Both of our apartments are now on a minimum booking of 3 nights, this will be reviewed at such time as when things return to normal.

Everything is still closed down in Vera Playa, but Spain’s official virus figures are decreasing finally, and the president is talking hopefully of Almeria being gradually opened up in very small steps to rejuvenate the desperate economy here,  its looking like local exercise will now be an option to families with children as a start, but masks and gloves are being encouraged to be worn at all times, to help stop a potential risk further developing.

Thecivil protectionhave been around Vera Playa, and supplied everyone with face masks to wear when going out. This was a very appreciated gesture as they are just not available from anywhere to buy for yourselves.  Luckily with the exception of the very first week of lock-down, the local supermarketConsumhas been fully stocked with everything needed to keep the locals going during this very difficult time.

We’ve also hadMonikas Bar in Palomares, where Paco, who normally does a Sunday locally produced fresh veg market, has been opening daily each morning, He has been an amazing help, as his stock is so good (and cheap) Thank you Paco !!!.

Spain has now officially closed its borders to the outside world, The civil guard has been deployed on all border points to ensure the lock-down is adhered to, and armed guard roadblocks have been set up locally on most major routes in and out of the coastal areas. Fines for breaking confinement rules are starting at €600 Euros, going up to many thousands, depending on the severity of the offence.

This is getting very serious,  luckily the Spanish government are thankfully helping out with a basic financial package for businesses that were compulsory closed down by theroyal decree, and their income has totally ceased  (We can eat this week, Woo Hoo)

The situation throughout the world has reached serious pandemic proportions, with sadly many people being very seriously affected by this terrible Virus. Almeria is on a very firm lock down, No one is allowed out of their homes unless its for food shopping or essential supplies, and even then, only one person is allowed out. The Guardia Civil is monitoring vehicles in and out of Vera Playa to stop Holiday makers arriving and the possibility of outside infection arriving in to Vera playa. Camper Vans are being stopped arriving in, and turned around. the whole area is like a ghost town, nothing open, no people, no cars on the roads and the silence is really eerie.

All the beaches, communal areas, playgrounds Etc have been sealed and closed to everyone, to avoid the risk of possible cross contamination.

Hello to everyone, Sadly the  situation in Spain is not looking good I am afraid, as bySpanish Royal Decree, weve been officially closed down until further notice. as has all other hotels, apartments and B&B’s Etc in Spain. Thank you to all our clients that have moved their bookings forward to a time of your choosing (Subject to availability) This has been an enormous help for us.

Most flights are being cancelled fully now and repatriation flights are been made available to get holiday makers back to their respective countries as an emergency measure, and it looks like this may not be a flash in the pan serious flu outbreak we were all anticipating.

News and updates

Well what can we say, Coronovirus has hit he world, and due to this fact, we are having to close our doors to any holiday arrivals for a few weeks to such point as this all settles down.  We are really gutted, as we had taken bookings already on our Estudio de Playa, as well as Casa Andrea.

We will be negotiating to hopefully move any booked clients to a date in the future when things are back to normal, and to maintain things as a business for us during these very stressful  times.

27th February 2020

Well we’ve finished our new apartment, and weve officially launched it on our website and opened its calendar for bookings. This apartment, we are making available for short term breaks fromONLY 3 nightsas its a perfect short term holiday spot, as its so close to the naturist beach.

Fully decorated, new bed/bedding, towels, kitchen wares, in fact pretty much everything inside has been stripped and renewed, even the balcony has had a full makeover to give it that home from home feel, and all of course ensuring, we maintain the high standards you have come to expect with us.

We look forward to hopefully seeing some of our existing guests in our new apartment, and many new ones in the future years ahead.

Lots more work completed, The full Re-wire has been completed and is all re-plastered, new sockets, switches,lighting, even an outside plug on the balcony should it be needed Lol.

The new washing machine has been delivered, as has the Microwave, and the new full HD TV is awaiting delivery once we’ve  stopped making so much dust lol. the new drop down sofa-bed is ordered and anticipated delivery is in the next 21 days.

Decorating should commence this week all been well, so we are well on schedule for our opening in February.

As well as working on Estudio de Playa, we have also been working to improve Casa Andrea, the Air conditioning unit has been moved to face the length of the lounge as it was previously fitted on the side wall, this should now both improve the heating and the cooling when needed and far quicker than it did previously, we have also had delivered a new Microwave oven, and a new kettle as the other one looked worse for wear, and last but not least, the light in the lounge has been replaced for a multi speed fan/light so Casa Andrea is not been left out on being spoiled lol.

The New Hot/cold Dual flow Air conditioning is now fitted,  (Thanks to Cool Solutions) The complete Re-wire is well underway, (Our huge thanks to Garyfor his patience with a job that’s growing hugely by each day that comes around)

Update to our website, to now show all pricing in Euros, this makes sense as we are living in Spain, and is easier for us with accounting as the exchange rate is so volatile at this time.

This will be utilised with immediate effect on all transactions both Website and Invoicing wise. nothing from your point of view will alter, except that our payment handlers Stripe will convert it for you from pounds to euros automatically so you see the exact price before booking with us.

We are excitedly pleased to announce we have finally secured a second apartment to add to our existing portfolio, Its a first floor Studio apartment, located on the beach side in the Natsun Urbanisation. Its fully naturist and will be ours around the October Area or hopefully sooner.

It will be having an extensive refurbishment, and a re structure from that time, and we are anticipating it to be ready for renting from January 2020.

We will be sending out a newsletter to all our subscribed members with full info, however keep checking back here for further updates as they happen. We ourselves are over in a week , we have lots of new apartments to look at to rent out, as we will be shortly putting a second apartment on to our Holiday Rental portfolio. We will keep you up to speed as any developments happen.

Well the Summer season is nearly upon us, all the amenities are now opening to give you more choices for eating out, and visiting whilst there, so come on and get booked as you are missing out on lots to do

Well what a few months we have had, Our New apartment purchase is still progressing in the background,  we ourselves have had a purchase hitch from our house buyer in the UK, however, this is now sorted and we are back on track.

Business wise, We have closed our links with World pay for our card processing on our website and customer invoicing, and are now fully integrated with Stripe Payment Systems, This has taken a major rewrite of our website,  but all completed and up and running, Our Customer Review process is now handled by an outside independent company called CR Reviews, They have also had their software integrated into our website, so we can verify our reviews are genuine and fully independent.(They will now contact you after your Holiday, offering you the option to leave us a review) 

we will be starting work on the New apartment once the sale is completed, and as promised, it should be available on our website in January 2020

Bookings are coming in very fast for 2020 with substantial parts of the year already full, so please dont forget to check our website before booking your flights, as we may be already full  !!!!

Well we have just returned from a wonderful stay in Vera Playa, We’ve met loads of great friends, and some new ones too. And lots has been sorted out for us when we move over to Spain Full time.

Whilst there, we bought a new sofa to replace the sofa bed that was definitely sagging where it counted, the new sofa is very supportive, and very comfy, We hope you all approve.

We are glad to confirm that Mark and Andreas Apartments Ltd has now Moved to Spain, and is now just Mark and Andreas Apartments (Not Ltd), Our bank is now In Spain and all the facilities we had in the UK are fully available in Spain too.

Our online bookings and any Invoices can now be paid with Stripe payment systems, and we still have the bank transfer facility if its required, (when we send you your final invoice, all the details will be on there).

Our Website has been brought kicking and screaming into the 21st century with a makeover, and background systems updated to future proof it for a while to come.

After another recent Visit to Vera Playa, We can confirm FINALLY we have completed residencia and are now registered in Spain, so all systems are now all go for the transfer over to sunnier parts that we all so enjoy.

The business is still on track for transfer to Spain, and will be registered from Casa Andrea initially until a permanent new home is established in Almeria, the change of paperwork and details will be confirmed to all our clients as it happens, however nothing in real terms will change, the website will continue as normal as will us in the background.

Any bookings made will all continue as normal, except when we move over We will be on hand personally to meet you for your holiday with us.

News and Updates

Well we are here again for a little break and to sort out the apartment after our very busy year, Thank you to all our guests you’ve kept the place lovely and we really appreciate it.

There are a few minor changes, weve added some more tiling to the bathroom around the base of the sink and shower to help with cleaning, and a new toilet seat as it was needed

As always I’ve paid special attention to our bushes and ensured they are trimmed nice and short, and am very pleased to say our little lemon tree is now a teenager, its little house move from its pot to the garden earlier this year has obviously done it well, as there is quite a flurry of new lemons growing well.

In the background, we have been very busy paving the way for our own move over over to Spain, the business “Mark and Andreas Apartments” will be transferring to Spain from April of 2019 to coincide with the Tax Year and the smooth running of things will neatly transfer as if nothings happened at all (Or that’s the plan, Lol )

Our Website and Emails will be just the same, and Telephone contact will be as easy as ever with the same phone numbers except our Spanish number will be more prominent from when we move across, Check our News and Updates for more info

We of course will be taking over the full running and control of things including meets and greets and cleaning, once we’re established and living in Spain, so hopefully we will get to meet all those guests we have still not met !!

We are really looking forward to 2019, our calendar is already nearly full, and we have now opened our 2020 calendar, so honestly, if your thinking of coming, get booked quickly, as we know it will fill very quickly, however, at the point when we do come to Spain, we will be purchasing a second apartment, and turning it around with our trusty team to get it up and ready for your holidays ASAP, and also giving you a flexibility of more dates, and a second naturist apartment to choose from.

Hi to our regular readers both new and established, Lots of things afoot, and we are as busy as ever with bookings established well into 2019, (and not much space to spare) We ourselves are over at the end of this month as in the background here in the UK, things have been developing very fast for us.

We hope to complete our Residencia application at the end of the month (Spanish Time scales permitting Lol) so there are no hurdles left for us when we are ready to move out to Spain ourselves, it will also eliminate any possible problems expected or otherwise with us leaving the EU and having no rights as an EU citizen in Spain.

It has been decided by the boss (Andrea) that we should be looking to move to Spain a lot sooner, rather than later, and a second apartment is our first priority to ease up our poor calendar, so things are now in motion to enable that to take place this coming year, and to hopefully tie in with our move to Spain at the same time.

We will be purchasing a naturist property again, and will keep it within a local vicinity of Casa Andrea if possible, obviously we will have some work to do on it to bring it up to all of our standards, but this will be done in the shortest time possible to enable it for holiday rental ASAP.

Bookings are coming in from our established clients and also from a few new ones too which is lovely to see, and its lovely to see you all returning year after year to your holiday home in the sun.

Well we had an amazing time in Vera playa, as always and we were privileged to have met 2 sets of our regular clients whilst there, and love it that we now have more faces to names.

We have sadly had to implement with immediate effect a one off small price increase, on all future bookings, however, this increase has been kept in line with similar properties in the area, and all bookings currently confirmed are not, and will not be affected by this small price alteration.

Additionally, for any of our previously booked clients from today, who decide to book Long term at our apartment (30 Days plus, which already offers a very generous discount), no further loyalty discounts (Including Loyalty discounts) will be eligible on these bookings, however, on all short term bookings (Under 30 days) your 5% loyalty discounts will still apply, please contact us, as before for your discount code to apply at the checkout.

We ourselves are travelling back out in November as we have some legalities to complete prior to the UK departure from the European Union to keep us in line with proposed new Spanish legislation and Proposed New requirements post March 2019.

We both thoroughly checked the repair on the Shower enclosure, and are very pleased to say it seems to have worked very well, so leakage should be to an absolute minimum now (A huge Thank you to Gary for all his tireless work in VERY HOT conditions)

More News and Updates, The shower has had a re structuring to try to cure the slight leak from the corner of the door, its basically been rebuilt on the inside, with a new floor tile fitted, and grouting inserted in every possible crevice.

It will be checked by us whilst were here, and hopefully corrected again if the drip still occurs.

We’ve also had a New Toilet flush mechanism installed, as the last one failed and had to have a temporary repair whilst the replacement parts arrived for the repair,

One of the sockets in the kitchen has also been repaired and re-secured against the wall, as has the light switch in the bathroom, and the control box cover in the bedroom (The cover had come very loose)

Just a quickie, We are finally here ourselves for a “relaxing break” we’ve driven over, so have brought new towels, and bedding to replace some that have become discoloured, and or a bit worse for wear, included also, are some face cloths, so you ladies that wear makeup can use them to save the towels (pretty please), and remove it far easier so Andrea tells me ??

we’ve also brought new kettle and matching toaster, as the previous toaster was actually not toasting very well, we’ve also brought a new juicer so you can have freshly squeezed juice with your breakfast.

 

 

Our new baby lemon tree, has unfortunately not fared very well in its pot, its needing lots more watering, so it’s been re-home’d, but don’t panic, it’s got its own little dedicated spot right next to a sprinkler, so hopefully, that should solve the problem and give us a little home-grown crop so you can have fresh home-grown lemons in your evening drinks on the patio.

I had the amazingly fun task of digging the hole in 30°c in a solid clay based garden, but all done, and looking good.

We were over the moon last year when we got the award for 2017, and this year well we are very very proud to say the least.

Well the snow has gone in the UK, Easter is over, and we are pleased to see bookings are starting to appear for 2019 again,

We still have availability left in mid October 2018 through to the end of this year for those of you that enjoy a milder climate in Spain.

Well The UK Weather as always, never fails to disappoint us all, minus 11 degrees in some parts of the UK (Including Yorkshire) and snow drifts to put Siberia to shame !!!

Thank goodness we can rely on Vera Playa to keep us warmer than we are used to in the UK. ??

Good afternoon to you all, not a lot from our point of view is happening at the moment.

We have taken up NEW advertising on a new booking website as well as Holiday lets/Trip advisor.

This is actually live now, so anyone that is still thinking of booking for 2018/19, pull your fingers out, as even more people are now looking to book the apartment.

Also with immediate effect, we have lowered the start point for the long term discount facility to 30 days from 35 days so this should catch and give a discount to a larger group of people now hopefully keeping cost low still.

We have also made a few alterations to our terms and conditions, to take account of the new agency, discounts, and also making it a more structured form.

The Commercial centre next to the Consum Supermarket is now completed, the entire commercial park is surrounded by 46 parking spaces in the commercial park itself, and a Bank Centre ATM will be placed on the exterior facade of the access entrance to the upper floor offices of block C.

However, only 80% of the commercial park properties are formally taken, and they comprise of: –

  • An Estate Agent
  • An Office of Management / Advisory
  • A Branded franchise of fast food, hamburgers, Hot Dogs, Kebabs, etc.
  • A branded clothing store and accessories
  • A lingerie and accessories store
  • A Clothing, decoration and accessories shop
  • A shop of Household and decoration.
  • A Bicycle shop
  • A Multi-purpose China Shop
  • An Italian restaurant
  • A frying Outlet?
  • A restaurant with menus and tapas.
  • An Italian ice cream shop
  • A Bar and coffee shop
  • A Hairdressing / beauty centre

All these businesses have committed to opening to trade with the holiday season’s, with a minimum of 9 months contractually, however, some will be open all year round.

On the facade of the access Entrance to the upper floor offices will be located a Bank Centre ATM.

There are still 7 vacant premises, so more updates as we hear about them, and our understanding is the newly occupied venues will all be trading within the next 3 months if not earlier.

Well we’re back and a very enjoyable time was had, as always.

So just a few updates. New electrics have been installed for the new boiler, that we had fitted in the latter part of last year. The UK TV has all been updated to the latest software, and is now running as smooth as ever.

The hedges and path edges have all been trimmed and shaped, and our Lemon Tree is still full of fruit, Woo Hoo !!!!

The New development at the side of Consum Supermarket is well underway for its opening date of February ish . (See Photos)

Its alleged there are to be some high street branded clothing stores, as well as a few designer ones.

A cash-point which will make things far easier for everyone has also been rumoured.

But whoever takes up the available spaces (and again its alleged its all taken) it can only be a benefit to the area and a boost to local economy.

This year 2018 to be honest is very nearly full with only a few gaps early doors and the latter end of the year.

We are recommending if you want to return in 2019 for you to look to make your booking sooner rather than later.

We would hate for our regulars to miss out on specific dates.

Happy New Year to all our friends and guests, (Both New and Exiting).

Only a few short days now, before we are over to the apartment for a small break ourselves.

Just as a note the prices are now live for 2019 both here and on Trip Advisor, and to press prices are approximately the same as 2018.

Please, whilst we know its very early, try to get your bookings in as early as your able, to avoid any disappointments.

Just a quickie, as we are creeping towards the end of an amazing Year with our Apartment. From the bottom of our hearts we would like to thank all of our guests that have stayed with us, and enjoyed it as much as we do.

Its really rewarding to see new guests, and the regular return of existing guests that have previously stopped, and many New and existing ones, whom have already made repeat bookings for next year.

Without you all, None of this would be possible, so “A huge Thank you” to you all ? !!!

We also Have a very special Thank you for our current guests, (R and J) who have very kindly done a lot of work around the Patio and garden.

They’ve arranged the planting and sorting of some fresh herbs and an amazing dwarf lemon tree, and all placed on the patio.

Well we have returned to the UK after a very busy 11 nights at the apartment, upon arrival we found the hot water boiler was leaking, so Thanks to Iain and his team, they fitted a brand new 100 Litre system which will give twice as much hot water as the previous 50 Litre version that was installed, this should allow for better access to hot water throughout the day and on demand before it runs out.

Thanks to a tip off from a client, our Internet WI-FI speed has been upped (Free) to 10 Mb.

It will be interesting to see what speeds we actually get in Vera playa.

Also we are due to pop over in a fortnight, to make sure all is OK, and have a little break ourselves. Whilst there, we are hoping to have installed UK TV at the same time through Next (Our Internet supplier).

This will give our future guests access to UK TV whilst there. (We do spoil you all) !!! ?

Our bookings calendar is still filling at a fast pace, so anyone thinking of booking in 2018, get your deposit paid ASAP, to secure your dates.

As your reading this, its obvious our Website is all up and running again with a brand new SSL certificate in Place so any private data you may submit when booking, is all safe and secure as was previously before the domain ownership change over.

Its been a very demanding few days, altering all our adverts, Logo’s, Accounting details, Etc to comply with our name change to Ltd, but we think we are finally there.

Mark and Andreas Apartments Ltd is pleased to announce we are now a fully Ltd UK registered Company. This is the next planned step of our growth strategy enabling us to grow.

Also to develop and create a bigger portfolio of properties for you our guests.

We are still very approachable and always will be, even though Andrea and myself are now Directors Lol !!, and nothing will ever change for our guests and the service we provide to them, its just the background company structure that has changed for the better.

Under the new Spanish rental regulations set down from May 2016, Air conditioning/heating has to be included in the total cost of the rentals as an all inclusive fixed price. We have it fitted in the bedroom and the lounge ensuring your comfort at all times.

New Regulations

Our rental prices have now been reviewed for 2018/19, to cover increased overheads resulting from the new regulations. A very small increase has been implemented, However, we feel we are still very competitively priced for all your pockets.

We have altered the Key deposit to £30,00 to cover increased security key replacement costs. This is now in operation with immediate effect on all NEW bookings.

This will be returned to you by Bank transfer or cheque after your holiday ends.

current Apartment Rental prices will not be altered for the 2017 periods.

New Items completed this Year

  1. The lounge has been redecorated to coincide with the slight damage caused due to the flooding and subsequent rising damp as a result.
  2. The slight Damp issue has Now been professionally rectified to maintain our high standards we expect for our guests,
  3. The lounge has been decorated and is now in a very neutral Magnolia shading which keeps everything bright and clean.
  4. (We have left the coin meter fitted so that if you wish, you may donate towards the Air conditioning running costs, though we would never expect this, nor would we implement it).
  5. We have had a new Washing Machine installed as the old one was very noisy. (and we did inherit it with the apartment purchase)
  6. And to keep our very high standards we have installed a brand New dishwasher to save on the washing up. Don’t say we dont Spoil You
